Grandpa Doug,

I just wanted to say I can't believe you and Grandma Jean both are now looking over me. It feels like it was just yesterday I saw you guys in 2019 at Sara's graduation, I can't believe that was 3 years ago now, I remember it like it was yesterday when you taught me to make hard apple cider with my dad and letting me try it as an innocent kid. Hearing your stories from when you were overseas in Germany really fascinated me, and I would've just loved to have heard one more. But I know your stories will always and I mean always have a place in my heart and in my memories, I'll do my best to keep them alive so my kids one day know what my hero was like. Thank you Grandpa Doug for being my hero all these years.
