My sincere condolences to the family of Maureen M. Kennedy.
I worked in the office of the academic dean at Harcum College when Mauareen was teaching in the Retail Merchandising program. My daughter was in that program and was taught by Maureen. I also took an evening sewing class with her. She was a lovely, cheerful, happy woman and I am fortunate to have called her a friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jan and Maureen's family who some I have met personally and others I have heard about though the years from Maureen. Maureen was a wonderful person and friend to me and my family. We have known each other for some 38 years from our days at Harcum College thru her move to Delhi with Jan which I remember trying to load all her belongs into a Hertz Box truck and just barely being able to close the door. Since Covid we just had our phone conversations not being able to visit Delhi. Our friendship will be missed but have many memories of these years. As has been said her faith was an important part of her life and gives me comfort we shall be united once again.
Dear Janet and family, I am so sorry to hear about Maureen's passing away. Please know you have my deep and sincere sympathy. It was my honor to have been your wedding officiant, a memory I have treasured.
My heart breaks for Janet with Maureen's passing. The love they share with each other as well as with those of us who knew them well -- or encountered them in passing -- will continue to be a blessing. Thank you, Maureen, for your gentle, loving presence. May the peace of the Lord be with your spirit...
