My daughter's middle name is Anne, named after Aunt Anne. She was very special to her niece and nephew, Nancy Palermo and my late husband, David McCauley. She has joined good company in heaven.

The Lighte Family was so fortunate to live across from Anne for the last 70 years. She was a wonderful person and great friend and neighbor. We shared a special bond for the history of Stamford. I spent so many hours at her home sharing memories of the Grand Hotel era of the Queen of the Catskills. She was so generous in giving her time and knowledge of our village history. We will miss her very much. Our condolences to her family. We will miss her very much.

I would like to thank all of the people who have helped Anne through out the years. Including Nancy Haines, Al Bisler, Janet Willis, the cousins and their wives for all of their support.

She will be missed by all for all she was.

Anne was a very special person and treasure who was deeply involved in the history of Stamford. Her knowledge, hard work and professionalism as an historian will be hard to replace. I will miss the sometimes lengthy talks we had together. I will miss her.
