I had the honor of doing some appraisal work for Sam and later working in Harry Hawley’s office where Sam blessed us with his appearance often. He was a tall, handsome man with a wonderful, kind heart. He treated everyone with respect and kindness. It is difficult to even comprehend his passing. Sam touched many lives- a truly good man. Rest in peace Sam. You were loved by many.

Sam became a Delaware County icon the moment he stepped foot on the Main Street sidewalk heading to the post office. He will be missed and is a pleasure to be one of his many friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Sam for the last 5 years. He was such a great guy and we truly miss him and always will. He was a big loss in our legal community and we will always remember him.

Sam was as you said, “a presence” . He quickly became a known figure in our village and will be missed by many. I am deeply sorry for your loss, but hold the promise you will see him again, as he had a good spiritual side and i know he would want you to hang on to that promise.
