We are so very saddened to learn of Michael’s passing. He had a remarkable life with Carolyn, and as an artist and maker of things. We will miss him greatly. Scott & Francine Zaluda
My condolences. Michael was my brother in law for a few years and was always fun to be around and kind. I remember when he bought his first motorcycle and absolutely fell in love with vintage bikes. Although we did not stay in touch, he seemed to be around at times. I have a painting of his in my house and once ran into an exhibit he had placed in a building in downtown Atlanta I happened to pass through. May he rest in peace and peace be with his family.
Carolyn,
Please accept my sincere condolences. Michael was a kind and loving creative spirit that touched so many of us. We lift you in prayer during this difficult season.
Carolyn, do you remember your grandfather bringing you to my office to discuss finances after you got engaged? I recall you were excited about having just acquired a jeep. I’m sorry for your loss. Michael’s was a life well lived! Carter Fowlkes
Mercy....
Michael was a friend of mine.
We grew up together in Douglasville playing soccer & tennis. Riding bikes. We have stayed in touch throughout the years and always had great conversations and always laughter!
Carolyn, so very sorry for you. You will be in my prayers going forward.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Michael. Gone far too young.
I am so sorry to hear about Michael's passing. I wish my best for his entire family. I was a friend and roommate of Michael's in college at UGA. He was an amazing artist and creative personality. His presence made the time I shared with him incredibly exciting and illuminating. He was an influence on me when I was younger, showing me the rewards of following a creative path in life. I always admired him for his dedication to his art and everything he did in life. We would talk cycling, art, film, and everything under the sun. He introduced me to some amazing experiences in this life that I would never have had the opportunity to enjoy if it were not for him. I truly mourn his passing, but am heartened by the influence he had on me and all the others in his life. What he left us with is absolutely immeasurable. - Eric Lewy
OH, I am so-so sorry--he has left me with pictures I treasure and also the time in Atlanta as a friend.
