Obituary of Linda L Hawk

Linda L. Hawk, 69, of Bloomville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home following a long illness with family and friends at her side.

Born on December 17, 1954 in Stamford, Linda was the daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Reta) Vroman.

Linda was manager of the Smoker’s Choice store in Delhi for many years. She also enjoyed serving the public at several other places in and around Delhi where she always made friends.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, puzzles and spending time with her canine companion, Wilson.

Linda is survived by her long time companion, William Smith, Sr; her children: Paul Hawk of Bloomville and Theresa (Jason) Noble of East Meredith; grandchildren: Jahred Skelton and Peyton Noble; siblings: Lynn Vroman of Saugerties, NY, Rod (Lynn) Vroman of Palenville, NY, and Cindy Turk of Murrells Inlet, SC; as well as close friend, Laureen Hitt of Bloomville; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be announced by her family at a later date.
