Obituary of Burton L. Aldrich

Burton L. Aldrich, 61, of Oneonta, formerly of Hobart, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 6, 2024 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

Born on October 1, 1962 in Stamford, Burt was the son of the late Jonathan and Vanlora Aldrich.

He worked as a maintenance supervisor at the former Guilford Mills in Cobleskill. 

Burt enjoyed poetry, being outdoors and all that nature had to offer.  One of his greatest joys were the people he loved, Burt loved his children, grandchildren and his many friends.

He is survived by his children: Ariel (Scott) Cirillo of Durham, NY, Vanlora (Michael) Weinberg of Ashland, NY, Nicole (Bradley) Steele of Worchester, MA, Gwen (Mark) Stannard of Stamford and Nigel Aldrich of Oneonta; eleven grandchildren, brothers: Floyd, Andrew, Warren, Jon and Vernon; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
