Tom was an iconic man in the Stamford community, known by many and loved by all who knew him. I don't remember a time when the Freer family wasn't somewhere in my orbit. Most memorably, Tom was my son's bus driver, and even at that young age, Mike had immense admiration and respect for Tom. He still talks about him as his bus driver to this day. Although he will be missed, take comfort in knowing that Tom spent a lifetime spreading compassion and decency in the world. He was a good man.
