Obituary of Marsha Rotella

We mourn the loss of our beloved family member Marsha Rotella, who passed away on June 25^th, 2024.  Marsha was a thoughtful caring soul, always ready to make a child smile or help a friend in need. Her love for animals, especially dogs, and her 25-year commitment to her position at CADI (at the college) were reflections of her inner strength and initiative. Marsha had a unique ability to connect with people on a profound level, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her many friends. She absolutely loved to camp, swim and ride her bike. It was common to see her buy toys for kids in need or just to see their eyes light up with the gifts she gave them.

She is survived by her mother Brenda Rotella and on her mother’s side her uncle Roger Barkman. On her father’s side she leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Marsha was predeceased by her father.

A reflective service will be held at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 to honor her memory from 10-12. The funeral will start at 12 noon and burial at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi to follow.

Donations to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society in her memory are welcome.
