Linda Rae Palm
1944 - 2024
Condolences
I am so grateful for the depth of life Mrs. Palm lived. She was loved so deeply, and her life experiences made her life so rich in amazing memories. She appreciated everything and everyone this world had to offer. I am so sad to not be able to hug her just one more time, and tell her what a wonderful person I think she is. Sending love and prayers to her entire family. Love, Lauriel
When you know the men of the Palm Family, you know Linda, too. She is mirrored in all of their special abilities. Her nurturing nature was perfectly matched with Dan's kind heart, her clever use of words in her beautifully crafted cards shows in Matt's impeccable writing in the Orlando Sentinel, and her "chicken dish" could fit right in at one of Jake's delectable dinner parties. May all of her beautiful qualities live on in the three of you, because they are all true gifts to the world.
With Deepest Sympathy,
McKelette Dowers
NOW CRACK THREE HEARTS: DAN, MATT, AND JAKE. GOOD NIGHT SWEET LINDA, AND FLIGHTS OF ANGELS SING THEE TO THY REST.
Dearly departed Linda wrote of how the love and attentiveness you gentlemen bestowed upon her was instrumental to brightening her days. Now we hope you find solace in knowing that her effervescent personality and goodness are adding to the glow of Heaven, and that Saint Peter smiled when handed an exquisite specially-crafted card.
With prayers and heartfelt sympathy, Lois and Paul Dowers
Our condolences to all. Linda will be fondly remembered and missed by so many.
Our condolences, prayers and love to the family. We always enjoyed any time spent with Linda and Dan.
My love goes out to all of you. Mrs. Palm was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. God Bless
To Dan and family. I am so saddened by your loss. Linda was a lovely woman. She and Dan welcomed into the church with open arms and helped me reconnect with the Lord. She will be missed dearly.
Each of enters into this world as a potential masterpiece, designed by our Creator with a blank slate to fulfill, a destiny to manifest, and footprints to leave in the sand…to be admired or admonished by those who may witness our trail.
Linda Rae Decker Palm was not unique in how she entered this world, but rather,in how she left it!
“George “, or “Georgie” was my college roommate at SUNY Oswego and I nicknamed her that for whatever reason kids nickname other kids!! The name “stuck” and most of us called her “George” from then on. The moment I met her I knew we would be friends for life, and thus,we were. As our lives matured and the busy years in between took over, our hearts never wavered. The laughter, the naïveté, the poignant times we shared, created the memories we treasure today,as each of us prepares to greet our Eternal Home.
Linda “Rae” was aptly named, for, indeed, she was a “ray”; a ray of light! Wherever she went, whatever she did, was blessed by the love and light that shone through her beautiful blue eyes. Linda (forever “my Georgie “ has left indelible footprints in her wake and Heavenly Wings to adorn and surround her wonderful family and all of us who LOVE her!
Shine on my precious friend, shine on! I love you! Bobbi

To Dan and all the family and friends of Linda - our sincere condolences. She was like a sister, because she was a good childhood friend of my sister and often at our house. Her difficult struggle is over - and she'll remain a pleasant memory to all who knew her.
The SKCS Alumni would like to extend their deepest condolences to Linda's family and friends. Linda was a graduating member of the SKCS class of 1962. Her husband Dan was also a member of the class of 1961. They attended many of our alumni dinners in the past. Linda was very active at SKCS during her school years. May she rest in peace.

From the first day we met, at church, Linda grew to be a bright light in my life. Her words of wisdom and inspiration spurred many big decisions, all for which she stayed right by my side. Linda was true blue..friend, choir mate. confidant, mom. I'll never eat another cookie without thinking of her. The choir of angels just gained the greatest Alto. One day we will harmonize again.
Dan, Matt, Jacob - My heart is breaking for you.
My sincerest sympathies,
Usha
