Obituary of Richard L. Mattice, Jr.

Richard L. Mattice, Jr., 65, of Davenport Center passed away early Monday morning, January 22, 2024 at his home following a year long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Richard was raised in the Stamford and Hobart area.  He was a selfless man, a loving husband, a devoted father, a cherished son and an amazing brother.

His favorite hobbies included anything outside, his family, the Buffalo Bills, the Boston Celtics, and WWE, however what Richard loved most was visiting the casino.

Richard was predeceased by his father: Richard Mattice, Sr.; stepdaughter: Ariel; two beautiful grandchildren; sister-in-law: Deb; and a daughter-in-law: Tanya.

He is survived by his wife: Brittany Mattice; daughter: Lynda (B) Mattice; sons: Ricky (Patricia) Mattice and Chad (Melissa) Mattice; stepchildren: Nicholas and Brielle Duharte; his mother: Elizabeth Mattice; sister: Diane (Larry, Jr.) Frazee; brothers: Rob Mattice and Andy (Danielle) Mattice; eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and he was expecting his first great grandson soon.

Funeral services will be private.
