Condolences
Dear Jennifer and Matthew. I am deeply sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was a “great guy.” I’ve known your Dad for over 50 years. I had the pleasure of having lunch with him this past June in New Jersey. He shared with me his love for the both of you. Very much the proud Father and Grandfather. I would be remiss not to mention his “Cabin.” He showed me pictures of both the cabin and the pond. I asked him if he fished at the pond and he replied no. He said that the fish had become more like pets. I had to laugh when he said that.
I enjoyed spending time with him and your Mom many years ago when I dated your Mom’s sister. Too many years passed before we connected again. We texted each other this past October and again at Thanksgiving. I reached out to him this morning not realizing of his passing. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. He will be deeply missed. Bob Huggins
The SKCS Alumni Association would like to send their deepest condolences to the Oblinski family and friends. Don or " Butch " was a graduating member of the SKCS Class of 1964. Don's wife Linda was long time teacher at SKCS as well.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Oblinski family. Don was a great person and will be missed.
Family of Don,
Alan and I are heartbroken to hear about Don.
Don was such a decent good hearted man. He will be missed.
I send my deepest condolences to all the Oblinski family. Don was best man at our wedding in 1964. We shares lots of memories. RIP my friend.
The Cleveland family and the Oblinski family were long-time friends. Joan, Patti and I were closer in age and were school friends. Donnie and my brother Fred were closer in age and were long-time friends. Donnie was a good man and I know that he will be missed my many.
My deepest condolences to Jennifer and Matt and their extended families. We shared so many times together, growing up as children and your parents were so kind and made our time so much fun. Treasured memories of snowmobiling and pony rides and always such enjoyable conversations of his time when he was in the service and traveling. Most recently we chatted about race tracks here in Connecticut. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Kristin Parenteau
We are so sorry and saddened to learn of Don's passing. I first met Don in the 1960's but lost contact until the late 1990's via our mutual love for vintage sports and many of The Vintage Car weekend at Watkins Glenn with mutual friends. Maggie and I enjoyed the time spent with Don camping during the Watkins Glenn weekend and pizza in Oneonta with friends at the Depot. He will be missed. Kermit & Maggie Witherbee
