Obituary of Evelyn "Tina" Burnside

Evelyn “Tina” Burnside of Bloomville passed away peacefully at her home on November 29, 2023.

Born to Russell Seeley and Wreath Clum on September 8, 1945, in Margaretville, where she spent the earlier part of her life.  Later moving to Roxbury Tina graduated from Roxbury Central School.  Following graduation Tina moved to Bloomville where she became a devoted mother and grandmother. 

Besides her family, Tina loved baking, cooking, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, gardening, and board games with her family.  She devoted her life to her family.

Tina was predeceased by her father Russell Seeley, her mother Wreatha Clum, her stepfather Harry Clum Sr., husband Burnett “Bernie” Burnside, two loving sons Patrick and Burnett “Brocky” Burnside and a brother Don Seeley.

Tina is survived by her sons: Chris (Patti) Speenburg of Delhi, Walter “Jim” (Shannon) Speenburg of Franklin, and Steven Burnside of Oneonta;  siblings: Joe and Deb Seeley of Davenport, Barbara Raymond of Chicopee Mass., Beverly Lawrence of Newport Richie Fl., Sally Litchfield of Bonneau SC, Lorelei and Ed Eckert of Stamford, NY, Harry and Laurie Clum of Bloomville, NY and Larry and Diane Clum of Charlotteville;  as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who were all special to Tina. 

Tina also leaves behind four very special people in her life, granddaughter Autumn Burnside and son Patrick, grandson Devon Burnside and special sister-in-law Florence Seeley.

A celebration of Tina’s life is being planned and will be announced soon.
