Obituary of Salvatore P. Iacobelli
Salvatore P. Iacobelli, 84, of Bloomville, passed away on at his home following a long illness.
Born on September 21, 1938, in Brooklyn, Salvatore was the son of the late John and Constance (Maria) Iacobelli.
He proudly served in the New York National Guard from 1955 until 1960.
Sal was a bus driver in Brooklyn, following his retirement he relocated to Bloomville. He loved being at his retirement property in Bloomville, where he enjoyed the outdoors, shooting guns, gardening, and collecting machinery, cars, and anything he though would help to build his next project. Sal also enjoyed music.
Besides his parents, Sal was predeceased by his first wife: Phyllis (Monteforte) Iacobelli; daughter: Dawn Iacobelli; and brother: Dr. Vincent Iacobelli.
He is survived by his wife: Diana Ochoa; daughter: Christine Logiudice; four sons: Nicholas Iacobelli, Jonathan Iacobelli, Frank Iacobelli and Salvatore Iacobelli, Jr.; nine grandchildren: Susan, Anthony, Felicia, Giana, Nichole, Jamie, Anthony, Marissa, and Valerie; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Salvatore’s life will he held at 2PM on Saturday, September 21st (his birthday) at his home on Crowe Road.
