Obituary of Richard W. Talbot, Jr.

Richard W. Talbot, Jr., 68, passed away on Monday afternoon, August 28, 2023 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

Born on November 14, 1954 in Little Falls, NY, Richard was the son of Richard W. and Alice (Peterson) Talbot, Sr.

He enjoyed playing billiards and loved music a passion he developed into a career as a disc jockey, operating DJ Dick T in the Oneonta area.  Richards greatest joy was his grandchildren, you could see him light up whenever he talked about them.

Richard was predeceased by his father: Richard W. Talbot.

He is survived by his mother: Alice Talbot of Laurens; children Richard (Tera) Talbot III of Treadwell, Kaylynn (John) Miller of Jefferson, Mackenzie (Sabrina Boyd) Talbot of Great Bend, KS and Courtney (Charlie) McRae of Ashland City, TN; five grandchildren: Charlie, Rosie, Grace, Presley and Corbin; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
