Terry Beard, 9-2-2023, I had the Honor of knowing Kathy when Joanne became part of our family. Kathy was intelligent and had an opinion on most topics popular in our culture. Her and I would have robust poliicial discusions over Christmas holidays. Hoping family and retane memories and pictures ò great lady.

I worked with Kathy for a number of years at SUNY Delhi. She was widely respected and always kept the best interests of the students in mind. She smiled often and was unfailingly a quite leader on campus.

I was never a stranger in the Martin family household ,I was just one of the girls.

She always had a encouraging word or bit of advice when I needed one. When the going got tough through college, she was always there pushing me up the last hill. Thank you Kathy. I will never forget your kindness. You truly made a big difference in my life.

I met Kathy through my friend, Pep Martin. She was a brilliant woman of many talents and we enjoyed kidding back and forth, particularly about our political differences. My condolences to Kathy's family and friends. She'll be missed by many.
