Obituary of Pauline J Zimmermann
Pauline J. Zimmermann (Oakley), 76
October 21, 2022
The world lost a tender soul when God called Pauline home, peacefully surrounded by her three devoted children.
Born January 30, 1946 in So. Gilboa to the late Joan & Allie Oakley, she was predeceased by her husband, Karl F. Zimmermann. She is survived by her children, Pauline Dugan (Patrick), Tina Daley (Paul) and John Rolf Fleischmann, Jr. (Divino), grandchildren, Kristen Barber, Chad Hornbeck (Brittany), and Spencer & Harrison Daley, three great grandchildren, Colby Barber, and Colton & Grayson Hornbeck, and her sister, Mary Nelson of Greene, NY.
A graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, she also attended SUNY Oneonta, however she spent the majority of her career with Graham Laboratories of Hobart, NY (later known as Mallinckrodt, Covidian & Tyco).
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, all the love of her life. She enjoyed her animals, gardening, painting, sewing, boating on the St. Lawrence River and eventually wintering in Lakeland, Florida with her husband, Karl, for many years after her retirement. Loving the simple things in life, she never wavered from her love of God and family.
She will be greatly missed by many for all of her endearing qualities. Donations in her memory may be made to Helios Care or Heart of the Catskills Humane Society.
At Pauline's request private burial took place at Stamford Cemetery.
