Obituary of Edna B. Ingram
Edna B. Ingram, 84, of Meredith passed away at her home on Friday afternoon, December 17, 2021.
Born on August 2, 1937 in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie (Zeininger) Wormuth, Jr.
Edna enjoyed shopping on QVC, watching and feeding the birds and chipmunks and campfires behind the house. She was a gifted cook and will be remembered for her grilled cheese sandwiches and famous fried chicken, not to mention her wonderful fruit cake.
Besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband: Harold James Ingram; and several siblings.
She is survived by her children Mary (John) Godfrey of Florida, Betty (robin Hammond) Benfer of Bear Mountain, NY and James (Sherry) Ingram of Meredith; grandsons: James (Sophia Rauchle) Ingram of Minnesota, Bryan (Chelsea Cika) Ingram of Meredith and Gregory Ingram of Meredith; great-grandson: Walker Ingram; sister: Josephine (Myron) Burget of Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial and celebration of Edna’s life will be announced at a later date.
