Dear Eric, Linda and Karen.
I worked on the rotary exchange program with George for many years. He was always a gentleman, ready to do anything to help. He has been missed by all of us. Charles Hill
To the Misner Family
I was a student of Mr Misner, at SUNY Delhi. He was a great professor. Please accept my sincere condolences to his entire family. RIP Mr Misner
I was sorry to learn of the death of Mr. Misner. I am grateful for the opportunity to know and help take care of this very nice man.--Paul Deringer MD
I worked with George at SUNY Delhi over the years, but my favorite moment occurred on Cape Cod. My son and I were riding our bikes on the rail trail and who should be riding toward us but George and family!! Prior to that I had not known that he spent time on the Cape each summer just as we had!!
Dear Eric, Karen and extended Misner family,
Your father was a very special person to me and others. He always carried himself with great integrity and was quick to help others. He had true empathy--which is rare. For me, he was a great mentor, confidant, and friend after I arrived at Delhi in 1982. We shared an office for many years and cared deeply for those with whom he worked. We shared much more than that space in Evenden Tower.
A remarkable gentleman who will be missed, but long remembered.
So sorry about George. I knew him when we were both on the Delhi Campus Ministry board. Such a caring person. Am thinking about all of you.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the great pleasure of knowing both George and Debbie. May all the wonderful memories you have of George bring you comfort. My love goes out to you. Patty Wright (former Office Manager of Dr. Sam)
