Walter was an excellent neighbor when I lived on Betty Brook Road and I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. He was a great guy and will be missed by many.

I was very sad to hear about Wally . I’ve always enjoyed our visit when he came to stay . I have many great memories and stories he has told me over the yrs my best memory is one of our trips to Albany and we stopped for lunch at a restaurant and went inside with our COL driver Richie and the 2 of them where quite funny trying to hit on our waitress who had to be just 18 and these 2 old man where funny as hell I told the young lady not to worry about these 2, one just got a new heart and the other can’t get out of his own way. They are nothing but big talkers and no action, Wally looks at me and say Jesus Ruthie you really know how to make a guy feel good. Lol. And told me to piss off lol. And then told me a story about when he was much much younger.
