Obituary of Phillip D. Harper

Phillip D. Harper, 64, of Delhi, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his home with his wife by his side.

Born on August 10, 1956 in Brunswick, GA, he was the son of the Ronald and Rita (Critley) Harper.

Phillip was a Welder and Fabricator, he loved working with metal and creating things with his hands.  In his younger years he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.    He was a sports fan, cheering on both the Atlanta Braves baseball team and the Dallas Cowboys football team.   Phillip also enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Georgia, who was by his side till the end.

He was predeceased by his father: Ronald.

Phillip is survived by his wife: Anita Harper of Delhi; mother: Rita Harper of Georgia; brothers: Paul, Ricky, Christopher and Anthony Harper all of Georgia; children: September Harper, Stacey and Brent Tobey; grandchildren: Peyton, Gage, Kaelyn, Thomas, Daniel and Braden; and several nieces, nephew and cousins.

At Phillip’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
