Obituary of Isabelle M. Prowse

Isabelle Mary Prowse, of Wantagh, New York born July 20, 1932, passed away on the evening of June 5, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.

She is predeceased by her husband James Prowse and her son of the same name.

Isabelle is survived by her children, Diane Haley, Marie Tucker, Jacqueline Gerdes, and John Prowse as well as fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by family. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.

Isabelle was a class act. As the family matriarch, she was always well-dressed with conversation starting accessories. She was a woman of class and distinction. She took pride in being well polished right down to her impeccable handwriting. Her family will miss her delicious meals, especially her famous desserts. Most of all they will miss her quick wit, her infamous sayings, and her all around great company.
