Obituary of Carol Tuttle

Carol Tuttle, 77, of Andes, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Mountainside Residential Care Center, Margaretville.

Born on June 4, 1942 in Andes, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Spick” and Gladys (Dowie) Tuttle.

Carol worked for many years as a teacher’s aide at Andes Central School where she especially enjoyed the children she taught.  She also was employed for several years as an aide at the former Delaware County Infirmary.

She enjoyed community events, keeping in touch with relatives and friends and often could be found talking on the telephone or enjoying a television program or watching sports.

Carol is survived by cousins: Sandra Steller, Chuck Treat, Russ and Jim Darling, Roger Hall and several other cousins, close friends: Mary Lou Matthews and Marty Liddle, Jr.  She is also survived by several other friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, with Deb Fleming officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Andes Cemetery.
