Dear Aunt Marie,
Well, the time has come to say goodbye for now. I miss our telephone conversations, and coming to visit you at the trailer park in Tucson. that was a long time ago, but I still remember the address: 555 N. Pantano, Tucson Az. If it hadn’t been for you, I may have never visited Arizona; a place I now love dearly.
I remember the times we rode around, just you and I. I remember how you laughed when I saw a Saskatchewan license plate on the car ahead and pronounced it “Sas-ket-CHEW-an”. And I miss your wonderful sense of humor.
I miss your never-ending curiosity in regard to places and other people’s interests.
I remember when I was very young and my Dad had the farm in Delhi, and how you were right there helping with Dad and Poppy with the milking, cleaning of the barn and care of the cows.
I love how devoted you were to all God’s creatures. I think that is a trait that runs in the Weber family. I would take care of all of the homeless ones myself if it were possible.
I am, however, happy for you, as I believe you are at peace now; exploring whatever came thereafter and taking care of all of the dogs in heaven.
Goodbye for now; till we meet again.
I love you,
Sue
