Obituary of Paul Albert Jones

Paul Albert Jones, 78, of Delhi, formerly of Suffolk Co, passed away at his home on January 26, 2019 following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born on November 25, 1940 in Bay Shore, the son of the late Joseph and Madeline Vasick.

Paul proudly served in the the US Navy from 1959-1963 at he Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD.

Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by a sister: Nancy Pisani; son: Paul Jones, Jr.; and son-in-law: Michael Sapanaro.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years: Judith (Weiler) Jones; children: Debra Sapanaro of Moorsville, NC, Jeffrey and Kelly Jones of Seattle, WA, Donna and Jeffrey Hoyt of Delhi, Josette and Jason Jones of New York, NY and Jonathan and Shea Jones of Walden, NY; grandchildren: Marisa, Michelle, Matthew, Madeline, Chase, Lena and Devin; and many in-laws, out-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Despite battling Multiple Sclerosis for 40 years, Paul kept his humor and love of life. Paul loved writing, painting and traveling with his sister Nancy and brother-in-law Pat Pisani.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
