Obituary of Mabel H. Hubbard

Mabel H. Hubbard, 86, of Hamden, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center.

Born on April 3, 1932 in Morris, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Bailey.

She was married to David B. Hubbard who passed away on June 2, 1992.

Mabel worked for the Bookstore at SUNY Delhi for over 30 years until her retirement.

She was a member of the West Delhi Presbyterian Church. Mabel loved cooking and baking, crossword puzzles, word searches, bingo and playing cards.

Mabel is survived by her daughters: Barbara Wilcox of Sidney and Sandra Caruso of Hamden; grandchildren: Anthony Wilcox, Darlene Erhardt and David Barlow; great-grandchildren: Julian, Joscelyn, Gerard, Ava, Caitlin, Marrissa and Brendan; great-great-grandchild: Amethyst.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3-5 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, where a funeral service will follow at 5PM with the Rev. Connie Stone officiating. Burial will be on Monday at 11AM at Perch Pond Cemetery, Town of Colesville.
