Earl David Luquer Sr passed peacefully Monday December 10, 2018 at AO Fox Hospital with his devoted wife and family by his side.
Earl was a long time resident of Deleware County, born September 14, 1946 in Delhi NY.
Earl graduated from Treadwell Central School and immediately joined the workforce. He held many jobs over the years including working the family farm in East Meredith, construction, truck driving and ultimately retiring from SUNY Oneonta in 2010.
Over the years Earl spent his time enjoying his hobbies which included reading, hunting, fishing, woodworking and tinkering around the house.
Earl is survived by his wife Jeannine(Temple) Luquer of Davenport; Children: Laura (David) Bryant of Cooperstown, Earl Luquer Jr (Cindy On Poch) of Arizona, Megan Luquer (Paul Clark) of Harpersfield, Christopher Luquer (Rob Giametta) of Kingston; Stepchildren: Kimberly (Gavin) West of S Saugerties, Scarlet (Lloyd) Henderson of Davenport, Debra (William) Sutton of Harpersfield, and Amanda (Chad) Mace of Davenport as well as 18 grandchildren.
Earl is predeceased by his daughter Amanda (Jeff) Wait also of Berkshire, as well as his parents Mabel and David Luquer of East Meredith and his brother Gary Luquer.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford with the Rev. Dottie Morris officiating.
