I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise to restore our loved ones to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) I hope that reflecting on this prospect and your wonderful memories will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Dan and Paula and the Weidmann family mourn the loss of Evelyn their sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Evelyn made friends wherever she lived. She extended herself to other people but will especially be remembered for her wonderful, home-made food with which she welcomed people into her life. Family was central in Evelyn' life. She made sure to attend all family occasions. She traveled with her sister-in-law Pinky to visit her son Brian in Japan. She visited Italy to acknowledge her Italian roots. Evelyn moved to California to live near her son Kurt and family in spite of the fact that her heart was in the Northeast. Evelyn's sharp intelligence and practicality will surely be missed.
