I worked for Ria at Prudential and stayed friends after she left. She was a great boss, tough but fair, always had my back and taught me a lot about courage and just going for it. She was a very generous woman and invited my wife and kids up to her big farm several times to go horseback riding and skiing. She stayed active in the Rotary Club and so many other organizations, I could barely keep track. I will miss our long talks and her great advice. She was a dear friend. My many condolences.

I knew Ria from our days at Prudential. She was truly respected by everyone she came in contact with, and could be counted on consistently. She assembled a team of highly qualified and motivated individuals who collectively achieved remarkable success.

Beyond work, I knew Ria as a warm and caring person. We often laughed about being "Tough Dutch", while

knowing full well, she did not fit the label.

My condolences to Oliver DeSofi, whom she spoke of often. She will be missed.

Ria was a wonderful woman, with a heart of gold. I was fortunate to have worked for her these last 9 years. Ria treated everyone as a equal. I will miss her smile and our conversations. Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered with love and admiration.

I worked for Ria for many years taking care of her animals whenever she went away. Ria was a kind and generous soul. A quick wit, she always had a funny story or quip to share as well as tons of snacks!!!! Ria loved to visit and chat. She will be missed.
