Obituary of Dominick E. Pernice

Dominick Pernice, 91, of Delhi, passed away on April 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

He was predeceased by his parents: Domenick and Rose Pernice, an infant brother: Salvatore and granddaughter: Sharon Rose Pernice 

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Edith and children Thomas Pernice, Timothy Pernice, Donald Pernice, Kathleen Pernice, Ronald Pernice and Gary Pernice.  Also survived by his grandchildren Richard Pernice and Jennifer Lardio, and his great-grandchildren were the joy of his life.

Dominick served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and was stationed for a time in Germany.  He later owned his own plumbing and heating business and worked on power plants throughout the Northeast.

He was a member of The American Legion Post #190 in Delhi. 

The family is thankful for all the support provided by Delhi EMS and Fire Department, O’Connor Hospital in Delhi, Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown and the Catskill Region Hospice team that worked diligently to make his last weeks comfortable.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3-5PM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Delhi Fire Dept., Delview Terrace Ext., Delhi, where a celebration of his life and full military honors will follow at 5PM.   Private burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
