Leslie was a sweetheart. Always good natured, always friendly. Being our neighbor for over 30 years we watched Nick and Leslie raise their family with patience,love and understanding. Leslie will be greatly missed in our lives but the good times will always be remembered. Happy voyage Leslie!

What a loving memory of dear Leslie. A loyal and loving friend, she was a beautiful, subtle, complex and most interesting woman with a great sense of humor. I am missing her profoundly.

Dear Dallas, Jennifer, Alexis and Renee,

I am so sorry about your losses. To lose your father and your mother in such a short time is devastating. I know you will miss them terribly in the years to come. Your children will grow up without grandparents. But I know that your parents gave you great strength and you will survive, and your children will flourish. I am your mother's first cousin, and my mother died when she was only 64. Your mother came to see her in the hospital before she died. I know they were very close. It has been more than 20 years since my mother died, and I miss her every day. So, don't expect to stop missing your parents. Just find a way to live a good life while you remember them.

Leslie was a wonderful person and great friend. She was so kind and giving, so bright and it was a joy to be with her. She was a terrific mother to her 4 very special daughters and grandmother to her 3 grandchildren. I knew her from when she and Nick lived in NYC. Had wonderful meals that she cooked including fresh from her own garden produce, once they moved to Hamden. There isn't much more I can say which was not said in her obituary. I enjoyed my long friendship with both Nick and Leslie immensely and miss them both terribly.
