Obituary of Margaret D. McNee

~~Margaret D. McNee, 92, of DeLancey passed away at her home on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Margaret was born on October 19, 1924 in Carbondale, PA, the daughter of the late Monroe and Marguerite (McDonough) Dow.  She grew up in walton and graduated from Walton High School in 1943.

She married Robert McNee of DeLancey on March 5, 1946.  They were married for 66 years before his death on August 13, 2012. For many years, Margaret and her husband operated their Bide-A-Wee Farm in DeLancey, raising registered Jersey Cattle and Belgian Horses.

Margaret was pre-deceased by two brothers, James P. Dow and Richard M. Dow.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan McNee of DeLancey; her son, Jeffrey R. (Gail) McNee of Walton; a grandson, Casey R. (Sheree) McNee and great-grandson, Mark all of Walton.  Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Betty Wood of Unadilla, Mrs. Virginia Benedict of Tampa, FL, and Mrs. Doris Wood of Florida.

Private burial was held in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
