Condolences
Dear Oles family, I am so sorry for your loss. Betty was one of the people that made Delhi a great place to grow up. I wish you all well.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. She was a true classy lady. She befriended me when I first started teaching at Delaware Academy. She thought Michael and I would make a great couple. Our first date was fishing at a pond on Federal Hill. I guess she was right about us. We are still together 38 years later. Our sympathy to the Oles family. Joan and Mike Barber

We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a nice lady. I have fond memories of her as my teacher and of all the times we would run into each other and the little chats we would have. I will miss running into her in Price Chopper.
To Bill and Family: Our deepest condolences to all. May you find comfort in each other.
Betty was an inspiration to all of us. She is missed!
When we moved here, both Betty and Bill treated us like family, and that kept on all these years. My heart goes out to Bill and to Nancy, Steve, Scott and Peg, my first fried in Delhi. Betty was a great lady. I remember her saying "HI like weather!"
Dear Bill, Peggy, Scott(Diane), Steve(Lynn), and Nancy, Betty touched the lives of so many. Her keen sense of humor brought a bright spot to any conversations we had with her. We will miss her and are so thankful that we had the privilege and pleasure of knowing her since we were in grade school. Betty exemplified everything you would look for in a teacher. With love and caring, Our deepest sympathy, Carol and Clark
I remember Betty and Miss Gladstone meeting in the halls of DA - they made more noise then 100 kids. Betty had a great personality and will be truly missed.
Dear Oles Family,
I only met Betty a few times, but had the pleasure of her gracious company at the Pasta Pooloosa sponsored by the Midtown Grill in May, and she was such a delight, full of sparkle, charm and wit. Al and I both would like to express our deepest sympathies for your loss of such a special lady. We hope you take great comfort in a treasure trove of fond memories. As you succumb to sad moments in the days ahead, remember that grief is simply a sign of unfinished love.
Wishing you strength, peace, and love, Kathryn & Alan Davino
To Oles Family - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was such a special person. As a teacher she made me feel special. She was always gracious and loving to those around her. An angel on earth is now rightfully in heaven. She touched many lives and will be sorely missed. She left us with her legacy of a wonderful family of caring community minded children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with you each.
Peg, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, she was such a lovely lady and I remember how much fun. Please also tell your family that I am sorry.
