Mimé was a most treasured grandmother to me. I can remember going to Mimé and Pipé's house at Elk creek to sleep over with my older sister Mandy at as young as 3 years old. We would lay on her bed and she would paint our toe nails red just like her's. I also remember that she taught me to play yatzee in that house. I was hooked on the game from then on and Mimé and I would play very often. When I was sick with Mono at 16, we must have played 50 times. Growing up we would play everytime I visited her right up until less than a year ago. She would save all the old score sheets. She and Pipé used to play a game at every meal. She saved all their score sheets too! All the grandchildren and great grandchildren probably remember the candy jar that she would always keep stocked. When I think of her I also think of goldfish crackers. She loved them, and always had them on hand to munch on. She has left me with so many other wonderful memories and no words can express the depth of my love for her. I picture her now reunited with Pipé, Uncle John and the rest of her family. Truly the best Mimé anyone could have. I'll love you forever:heavy_heart_exclamation_mark_ornament:
