Sonny was my uncle and exceptional man. I spent my formative summers working on the Saccaro farm. I do not think there was possibly a better place in life to prepare a young man. I remember long days of haying, working side by side in the fields, late into the night, and slurping down some Ice Cream at midnight after the evening milking. Sonny had a voracious sweet tooth. I also remember that no matter how busy he was he always made time for a game of horse with me. He always won and then encouraged me to keep at it noting I was getting noticeably better. I credit the Saccaro's for my depth of character and Sonny in particular for my tenacity and persistence. He was a smart guy, loyal to his friends and family with a very giving heart for which my family benefited greatly. I will miss him but never will I forget him nor will most anyone whom ever had the pleasure of knowing him or debating him.
RIP Sonny much love, my endless thanks and eternal respect.
