I am one of Kim's friends and colleagues from the Embassy in Paris. I've never met Karen but I've heard about her from Kim for about 13 years now. Kim is a lovely person, intelligent, wise and a great mom, if she is anything like her own mother, then Karen must have been a very special person. I am so sorry that you had to leave this world Karen, my condolences to all you left behind who care about you.
