It's was a honor to be your son in law.I always enjoyed the race track and just talking to you and learning many things about life.Dad I love you and will always miss you.

We were so saddened to hear of Helmut's passing. He was such a friendly, kind and caring person. We met him and Barbara many years ago through our friends, the Waldhofers, at the Austrian Soccer Club. We always enjoyed being in their company and missed them at the dances when they moved upstate. Helmut will be missed but will always be in our hearts.

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of Helmut Hamedl. Uncle Helmut will always be remembered as such a friendly and kind person. He always smiled and was always happy when we saw him. We have many fond memories of him growing up and we were happy we could still see him once a year at Riedlebauers. We will miss him very much. Helmut had a good life because he was an exceptionally good person.

He and Barbara have been our neighbors for 25yrs...the sweetest and kindest couple ever!

Helmut always had a smile and a wave and was always ready for a driveway conversation. His generosity extended to snow blowing for us at times when we were not able, and offering his vast knowledge of everything mechanical or constructional. We marveled from across the street (and felt a little pressure) at his dedication to keeping his property immaculate. A hard worker is an understatement when describing Helmut. As Barbara always said, he could not sit down for long, except to watch a soccer game of course! Helmut loved to talk about his family near and far away and was so proud of his grandsons. He and Barbara watched Emma grow up and were always supportive and loving towards her.

We will miss this gentle man and the twinkle in his eye.
