Condolences
I knew Jim since we were in Kindergarten at The Osborn School in Rye, NY. Even then, he was a friendly and funny guy.
Although we lost touch for many years, I was so happy to have reconnected with him and renewed our friendship, RIP Jim.
Rest easy beautiful friend. May the sweet Angels provide comfort to all during this difficult journey.
Gone too soon. Until we meet again. Love you. Michelle
I knew Jim and his brother for over 35 years.
I knew him as an accomplished International Chili Society cook.
He was bigger than life for so many. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to help with anything.
His knowledge of cooking was unsurpassed and his grasp of regional cuisine was remarkable.
I will miss his smile, kind words and jokes....most of all was that smile.
The world is a less bright of a place with his passing.
Kat, Joshua and Michael Freedman and Dr. Sarah Scheidel.
From our days at rye and the Osborn home we have enjoyed an easy friendship, a trait of your entire family. Sadly I have seen you all go: mom, dad, John, beanie and now you. I hope you all can gather and celebrate your new begining.
You will be missed.
My deepest condolences.
Allan

I'll always remember our chats about baking, and comparing our war stories about our knees. You were a big part of our club, and you will forever be missed! I'm sure your presence will be felt on our rides. Rest peacefully, my brother....."Cookie"
