I'm sorry to hear that Frank is gone. For years I wondered what had happened to him. He was my mother's cousin. I spent the Summer of 1966 living with Frank and his patents on their Dairy Farm in Chambers Hollow, Hamden, NY. Sometimes early in the morning, Frank and I would ride with his father as he picked up milk from the other dairy farms in the Hollow and delived the milk to be processed in Delhi. Besides helping with the farm work, Frank and I spent a lot of time picking blackberries and hunting woodchucks. In the Winter months his father Lawrence D. Ballantyne, made beautiful wooded furniture. His mother Stella Belle Tracy was a wonderful cook. She was one of my grandmother's younger sisters. They were daughters of John Oscar Tracy (1862-1950) and Lydia Susannah Walsworth (1869-1939).
Sincerely,
Jack Gillespy
