Condolences
My sincere sympathy to Margie's family. Margie and I were friends for over 50 years and she was a true friend, can't remember ever having a cross word between us. Margie was there for me when my mom passed and was there for me when I my husband passed, she was the type of friend that would always be there when you needed her. I will miss our daily 2 to 3 phone calls during the day and I will treasure our friendship, I already miss her dearly. Anna Mae Collins
Margie could make me laugh the way I did as a kid and can not catch your breath!! As sick as she was she would always ask How are you? She was a great Lady and a good friend and neighbor When I first moved here in 1989. She and Jim both looked out for me and gave moral support when I needed it most. I will never forget them for that. Yes,only the good die young. God bless you Margie have one for me up there!!
Love and RIP my friend Nancy John Chris Ashley & Bosco
Thank you Bonnie, that means a lot. She was a firecracker.
Dear Selena, Chris, and Janine,
Your dear, sweet mom and I go back quite a few years, don't we?! Goodness, so many wonderful memories! She was an amazing up-beat lady that could remember so much great stuff from the past and remember everybody's name! I would always be saying, "Oh, that's right! I remember now!" Super visits and laughs with her! Great sense of humor! I am going to miss just stopping in! I was always welcome! Our very own "Weather Lady" for so many years. I hate not seeing her name up there on Steve LaPointe's Channel 6 Weather Reports. You had a great Mom and she had great kids. She will be greatly and sincerely missed by so many of us. We are so very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Bonnie and George Ericson
Me, too, Janine!! She was a "hoot"!! :)
This meant so much to us, thank you Steve
She was a wonderful lady. Many memory's of her at work, of how she kept the patients happy and well taken care
Marge was a great person. We were glad to have her as a neighbor. When ever the power went out we would go over to make sure she was ok. Our son Robert always remember going to her house and she would give him a Schwans Rootbeer ice-cream bar. Her and Robert would enjoy them. Robert would play with the toys on her floor. She loved to watch him.The year Robert was born we took him to see Marge on Halloween with his little Tiger costume she had to take a picture right-away. I would see her light on in the middle of the night. She could not sleep she said. She gave us some guppies for the fish tank that we still have for 8 years. Marge will be deeply missed.

Although I left New York State at age 21, I tried to keep in touch with family and friends through the years. But, my best memories will always be when our family got together for parties, celebrations at special times and our crazy explorations around the farms. I spoke to Cousin Marge a few days ago and am so glad because I never got to see her again. My memories of all of us together is special and will remain with me to the end. Rest easy, Cousin Marge. I love you, Cousin Tess.
I left New York State at age 21, kept in touch with letters, calls and visits to family. But, the memories I have of us cousins getting together when younger, dinners together, family parties, times shared together will always be with me; they are very special. I am glad I got to talk to Marge a couple of times during the last few days. I wish I had been around to come by to see her but my memories will keep me going. Rest easy Cousin Marge, I love you.

My fond memories of my only sister transcend as far back as I can remember to my childhood. You helped take care of me when I was a little boy on the farm. Did I ever tell you this? The bantam chickens you gave us attacked me in the barn…To this day I am still scared of chickens. Thanks a lot! When you left to join the U.S. Air Force, I was about 6 years old. I cried, thinking that you were gone forever. But you bounced back in and out of my life, adding many happy times we shared. I still think of the great fun you and I had dressing up for Halloween…me as Hagatha and you as my husband. It was hysterical! We even got our picture in the Mirror Recorder.
I wish there was time to make more memories.
Aunt "Fro" as she was known to my siblings and I, was always quick with a joke, and quicker to chase you with a cooking spoon when I would pat her on the head at family gatherings. (she wore a permed hair style for many years, hence the nickname) She will be sorely missed.
Please allow me to extend my sincere condolences from not only myself but the entire weather staff at CBS6 for which Margie, over a 16 year period, served as one of our most enthusiastic, accurate, and reliable weather watchers, an important member of our WeatherNet 6 spotter family. It's difficult for me to express how sad I am at Margie's passing. I will miss her reports. But I will miss more her short "Welcome Back" emails that she would send to me each time I returned from time off the air. She never missed one. Margie was a great lady and I am a better person to have met her and worked with her over these years through WeatherNet 6. We were honored to have her on our team representing the community of Jefferson so well. Margie, we will deeply miss you
