Obituary of Stanley R. Pawlikowski IV

FRASER Stanley Robert Pawlikowski IV, 18, of Fraser, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was born October 9, 1994 in Cooperstown, the son of Stanley R. III and Joan E. (Petzinger) Pawlikowski. A lifelong area resident, Stanley graduated from Delaware Academy in the class of 2012. He was currently attending the SUNY Delhi Nursing Program. Stanley took an early interest in sports and was active in peewee football, baseball and soccer; and also the Varsity soccer and JV football teams at Delaware Academy. He was an active member of the Delhi First Presbyterian Church Youth Group and the German Club while attending Delaware Academy. He enjoyed photography and writing poetry. Stanley was an avid fan of Motor Cross sports. He and his father raced side by side at tracks around the area for 7 years. His favorite track was Unadilla and he was a member of the AMA district 3. He will be remembered by his numerous friends and family as a loving person who enjoyed being a dad and thought the world of his son Shaine. Stanley is survived by his 14 moth old son, Shaine Robert Pawlikowski; his parents, Stanley R. III and Joan E. Pawlikowski of Fraser; a sister, Sarah Pawlikowski and Jeff Kellogg of Walton; a sister Amber and Michael Magyar of Elkton, MD; paternal grandmother, Joan L. Pawlikowski of Fraser; maternal grandmother, Bernadette V. Petzinger of Fraser; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Charley Beveridge, Ken and Maureen Pawlikowski, Linda Gallagher, John and Kathryn Pawlikowski, Trish and Brian Sprague, Pat Petzinger, Ginny Petzinger, Robert J. Jr. and Michele Petzinger, and Karen Williams; many beloved cousins; and a lifelong best friend, Tom Telian. He was predeceased by a paternal grandfather, Stanley Robert Pawlikowski Jr.; maternal grandfather, Robert J. Petzinger, Sr.; and an aunt and uncle, Kathleen and John Adams. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Delhi First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Sarah Hooker officiating.
