Obituary of Dorothy F. Gagne

DELHI Dorothy F. Gagne, 87, of Delhi, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at home in Delhi. She was born on June 25, 1926 in Salsbury Mills, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Johnson) Wright. She married Henry J Gagne. Dorothy was employed as a food service supervisor for SUNY Delhi for 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. They remember the wonderful Thanksgiving meals she prepared. She is survived by a son, Edward H. Gagne of Delhi; a granddaughter, Nicole and Harvey Kesweder of Arizona; great grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Kesweder; a sister, Anna May Stoop of DeLancey; a brother, Clarence Wright of Florida; a brother Alfred Wright, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry J. Gagne; a sister, Alma Elwood; and a brother, Everett Wright. Calling hours will take place on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A service will take place immediately following at 2 p.m. also at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Sarah Hooker officiating.
