Condolences
Dear Children of Betty and Bill... God has his way always... He united your parents many decades ago in holy wedlock and could not see them separated one more day... Delhi's loss, but heaven's gain. We celebrate Jesus' birth now and rejoice that through Him, you too will one day join them. Until then, live the wonderful examples they demonstrated in their love, respect and genuine faith... Shalom, Betty and John
To the Oles Family -
My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Two more angels from the "greatest generation" join all the others! God Bless!
I have such fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Oles and so sorry to have learned of their passing. My sympathies to Nancy, Peggy, Scott and Steve.
To Steve Oles & family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and all your family. I consider myself very fortunate to have known your Mother & Father. I don't know if you remember me, Your Father hired me as caretaker up at Lake Delaware in 1985. I consider myself to be ever so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work, live & raise my 2 boys there. The Gerry's were the best people I have ever known & worked for. Next to your Father. God bells them all!! God Bless you & all your family Steve.
We wish to express our deepest condolences to the family. Bill and Betty were certainly the finest. It has been our privilege to have known and been of service to them.
I would like to express my sincere sympathy at the loss of Bill. He is once again with Betty. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Peg, Scott and families, We are so sad to hear of first your Mom, then Dad's passing. Neither Delhi or the Shankitunk communities will ever forget them. We are both grateful for the time we spent with them. I remember going to your house with you, Peg, as a child and then seeing both of them, especially at sports events. Our love and sympathies to you.
Love, Cindy and Kim
Seems like the end of an era with Bill & Betty gone. They were absolutely wonderful to us - in Delhi and North Carolina - over a long stretch of years. The world's not the same without them. Our sincere condolences to the Oles family...John & Betty
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time of loss. Bill and Betty were genuinely wonderful people. We will miss them. Our family's connections go back to when my mother was in high Sschool.
Sending you all many thoughts and prayers. May your wonderful memories comfort you during this time. Your parents were always so nice and welcoming. We always enjoyed our visits with them and they were always so nice to our boys, Michael and Matthew. With our deepest sympathy, David, Kierstin, Michael and Matthew Griswold
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Bill, but he is at home with Betty. We are sorry we cannot attend the service, health and weather are in the way of travel for us. God Bless you all; their lives were a gift! Janet and Maureen
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. In many ways this is a blessing, as hard as it is, and I share your grief and feel your loss. They were great people, a part of Delhi has left us, but have left their mark. God bless and hold all of you at this time, and as you work through this holiday season. May you feel blessed by their presence in your hearts and the memories you share will live on forever. God Bless
My condolences to all of the Oles family in what has been a rough Autumn. Never will forget your Dad always gave us a "big wave" as he drove to work and we were walking in the other direction to school. He was part of the good memories of growing up in Delhi. Best regards, Mark Smith
We are very sorry for you loss. We were fortunate to know both Wilbur and Betty and they were very nice people. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
