ANDES Mary Margaret (Buckley) Cosenza May 23, 1934 - June 3, 2014 It is with great sadness the family of Mary Margaret (Buckley) Cosenza shares the news of her passing on June 3rd. Mary was the loving wife of Anthony Cosenza for almost 58 years, and he will miss her greatly. Their children, Elizabeth and William Brosi, Anthony Cosenza and Tatyana Meshcheryakov and Susan and Michael Poggio will remember her as the best Mom ever. Grandma Mary will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, William and Megan Brosi, Michael and Marin Poggio, and Chloe and Ashley Cosenza but they will always cherish funny Grandma Mary stories. Mary is survived by two brothers, Michael Buckley and Patrick Buckley and his wife, Norma; brother-in-law, Ralph and Moira Cosenza, sister-in-law Roseanna Cosenza, and many nieces, nephews and cousins and their families. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY to Katherine O'Sullivan and Patrick Buckley. She is predeceased by her sister, Kathleen and brother, Timothy. She lived for 30 years in Highland Mills, NY and moved to Andes, NY in 1998. Mary worked for Blue Cross- Blue Shield in NYC, the Monroe-Woodbury School District, the Duck Cedar Inn, but her most cherished position was a stay-at-home Mom for her three children. She enjoyed spending her winters in Myrtle Beach surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed baking, bingo, reading and watching cooking shows. She was a good sport by tolerating yearly camping family trips, but always enjoyed being with her husband, children and grandchildren and many of their friends. She will be remembered by her family as the bravest woman ever. Friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Margaretville, with Fr. Steven Scarmozzino, celebrant.
