My heart goes out to Shu and their 2 boys...Her love for them was unconditional. Also to her family...she left behind many memories to remember her by as many have shared on her wall on facebook. I can only imagine what it is to loose a mom, sister,daughter, cousin but I do know what it is too loose a friend. Rachael will be greatly missed by many...but you can see her smile her two boys...Praying for peace that passes ALL UNDERSTANDING for all that she left behind!
I've only had the opportunity to know Rachael from a distance over the years living alongside her in Delhi and attending ncoc boces during the same time period, but she was a sweetheart and everyone knows it. Beautiful inside and out. We rode the bus to boces together and I had always thought her pretty and popular, but she surprised me by being brave, humane, and a kinda hero one day because one of our peers was a special needs girl who got picked on consistantly until she scolded that bully! From then on we all respected that and treated the girl more like one of the group. since then I've looked at Rachael as a kind of role model and kept up with her on a lite friendly basis over the years. Even though we can't keep her we can keep the beautiful memories she helped create. Miss you girl. Rest easy and watch your babies grow well

I am so sorry for your loss. Not having known Rachael at all but having met the family and friends that visited her in the Hospital while I had the chance to have met her really showed she was loved by many and will be missed. RIP Rachael.

Rachel was a dear friend of my daughter Dominique. I remember her as a sweet caring young lady who dearly loved her family. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of her loved ones. Dearest Rachel, I hope you have found your peace.

The loss of Rachael is tragic and shocking. I feel deeply for Shu and for Wyatt and Preston and all of Rachael's family. There are things that we as mere humans are not meant to understand and this is definitely one of those things. Days will be bittersweet as her smile lives on in our memories.
So sorry to hear about Rachael. She was such a sweet person and a loving mother. I will miss the many talks that we had while she was in school and at my store. Her smiling face will forever be etched in my memory. Sincere condolences to you, her family. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
