Obituary of Albert H. Frazee

South Gilboa Albert H. Frazee, 89 of South Gilboa, New York passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born April 10, 1925 in South Gilboa, New York the son of Maurice and Elizabeth (Brewster) Frazee. He married Katherine Frazee in 1973 in South Gilboa, NY. Albert was born and lived his entire life in Windy Ridge, South Gilboa. He played bass in the Bill Demarest Quartet in the area for a number of years. He enjoyed employment as a dairy farmer; a land surveyor; he owned and operated Frazee Furniture; and was a delivery driver for Becker's Tires. He loved his home and family; spirited discussions at the kitchen table; fishing; watching the wildlife in his backyard; and exploring the back roads of the Catskills. He is survived by his wife Katherine at home; his children, Jacqueline (Dan) Kosalsli, Haddam Neck, CT, Debbie (Gary) Cole, Davenport, NY, Jayne (Dan) Bevilacqua, Deep River, CT, Teresa (Cairns) Hauser, Sun City, AZ, Mike (Elaine) Cairns, East Cobleskill, and Roger Cairns, Stamford, NY; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also, a sister-in-law, Jeanette Frazee, a niece and nephew, Barbara Paulter and Larry Frazee and his companion cat, Max. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Carlton and Maurice Frazee. A Memorial Service will be held at the Frazee residence, 173 Meeghan Road at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 7, 2014. Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made to Stamford Fire Department or the ASPCA of Schoharie County.
