Obituary of James H. White

James H. White, 80 of Delhi, New York passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born September 23,1934 in Delhi, NY the son of Ardis (York) and Howard (Jack) White. He married Helena James at Saranac Lake, NY on February 14, 1956. James was a member of the New York National Guard from 1951-1962 and was self-employed, The Delaware Co. Field of Water and Waste Water Treatment. He was the 5th Generation of White Family to live in Delhi, NY. James was also the 3rd Generation member of Masonic Lodge #439 in Delhi. He graduated from Delaware Academy in 1952 and SUNY Canton in 1954. He is survived by his son, Charles White, Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Jane Dykes and her husband Ken of Bixby, OK; grandchildren, Kelsea, Kendall and Kasidy Dykes of OK; and great grandchildren Bennett, Palmer and Hendricks Dykes. The services will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Delhi.
