Condolences
To Yolanda, Teddy, Eyra, Patty and the rest of the Toledo/Kelly family from your extended family at Le Havre. We send you all of our love as you go through this difficult time.
My dear brother in law Edward Kelly passed away this week. He was more than that to me but a dear friend who I loved and cherished. May he rest in peace and may my dear sister in law Yollie continue to show the strength she has exhibited throughout this trying time. I have been and will always be there for whatever she may need.
It is with great sadness that I write my goodbyes to you Uncle Eddie. While I have a big family on both sides, you are really the only true Uncle I've ever known. You were apart of my life for as long as I can remember. No matter how upset, angry or sad I was you always had a joke or story to tell that could cheer me up in a heartbeat. You never judged anyone based on what they had or where they came from; always impatial with unconditional love for everyone. Even during times of struggle you had an open door to those who needed it. I will truly miss you with all my heart and I feel blessed that I got to say goodbye, even if for a moment, on FaceTime. I was so sad I couldn't see you in-person to tell you how grateful I was to have been apart of your life, but know that your spirit will always been with us. You will be remembered forever and always. Love your nephew, Michael
Edward Francis Kelly May you RIP. Today is your day you say goodbye, we're all very sad, and you're gone too soon. Eddie, you were the best brother in-law anyone could every ask for. A simple man and I can still hear you jokingly say "Whatever". You were taken from us so fast and I had the privilege of hearing your story, my only response was "WOW". Eddie you told your Doctor you served this Country in Vietnam and how you suffered afterward with PTSD. It seems like you spent many sleepless nights suffering silently like so many other Veterans. Hopefully your story will be told and will help other Veterans that served this Country. I Love You From The Bottom of My Heart.
Your Sister In-Law, Alicia DeCurtis
May Edward's family and friends be comforted by God's promise to "swallow up death forever...and wipe away the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8). Along with the promise of a time soon when 'no resident will say " I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24) "Remember the Resurrection hope for both righteous and unrighteous" (Acts 24:15) You may find more scriptural thoughts @ jw.org
