Obituary of Patricia G. Kopfman

Patricia G. Kopfman, 78 of Stamford, New York passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. She was born March 23, 1937 in Cooperstown, NY the daughter of Paul and Corinne (Spencer) Roseboom. She married Charles Kopfman on April 30, 1954. A lifelong area resident she retired as a Clerk for BOCES in Stamford, NY and enjoyed her business in antique jewelry. She was a member of the Stamford Fire Department for 17 years and a Charter Member of the Stamford Emergency Squad, serving as the Squad Captain for a number of years. Pat is survived by her husband, Charles of Stamford; two daughters, Barbara (Jerry) McSwain of Norman, OK and Diane (Glenn) Thompson of Amsterdam, NY; grandchilden, Kurt Thompson and Garret Thompson; sisters, Jeanne Handy of Burdett, NY and Peggy (Bob) Ottman of Remsen, NY and many nieces and nephews.
