Obituary of Mabel E. Corbin

Mabel E. Corbin, 94 formerly of Hobart, NY passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 in Brownwood, Texas. She was born March 12, 1921 in Youngs Station, NY the daughter of Fields and Lulu Miller. She married the late Howard J. Corbin, January 26, 1943, he predeceased her April 25, 2000. A former Hobart resident, Mabel enjoyed her home and supported her husband's work on the Wallace Rich Farm for many years. She was a member of the Hobart United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son Howard F. and daughter-in-law Nancy; a sister Marion Cotton of Portlandville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Howard; sisters, Florence Gage, Lillie Littlewood and brothers, George, John and Elmer Miller. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:00am in the Hobart United Methodist Church with Rev. David Collins officiating. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-11am at the church. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart, NY.
